sub contractor Home Boarder Assist-U
Dionne joined the team as a host boarder in February 2018.
She is fully licensed in her own right under her Company name of “assist-u” pet boarding service. Having lost her beloved Weimaraner in November 2017, whom she is not yet ready to replace, she was very much missing her daily “dog fix”, so decided to open her home to dogs that need boarding whether it be for day care or longer. Having grown up with dogs Dionne loves them and is looking forward to building up her clientele with us and working with the team. Dionne lives in Basingstoke with her Husband and son and in her spare time enjoys keeping fit and Yoga.

Katy has joined the team 2018 as a sub contractor to BoardWalkers. Katy has a very experienced animal background.
Katy is extremely knowledgeable in the animal field with her previous work at Marwell Wildlife in the Primates and Hoofstock section for 19 years. This had Katy working with larger species such as rhino and giraffe,
Katy has also had work previous as a farm worker.. this included a small children’s farm to make film adverts that used their animal for TV, kennel/cattery and stable. Katy also has Work experience on the dairy farm, and in a kennel/cattery.
Katy is profoundly deaf. She lives with her husband Gerard also profoundly deaf and two cats and a bearded dragon in Basingstoke where I grew up as a child. Katy has always been interested in animals and her deafness has never been a problem in looking after them.
Katy is in no way held back at all with the dogs ... dogs ;as always to go off lead ..require owners consent and this again is clarified with each owner that Katy will walk for and be explained to.. Lovely Layla seen in the picture has taken beautifully to Katy when out focusing on her for instruction.. even when I’m there she is zoned into Katy as she knows she is taking the lead. Zoe, Nico ad Riley .. all BoardWalkers pups too have taken to Katy beautifully ..
All dogs will be lead on long lines until a bond is made ( as we do with all of us)..
Katys hobbies consist of Mountain biking, and a leader for deaf sailing for the Rona Sailing Project at Southampton .. running three weekend trips a year.
Katy is also known by her nickname....
